2016 171 R-pod. My fridge has a constant beeping that's driving me crazy. Does anybody know the cause and cure? The fridge works fine.

Most likely moisture in the light/door sensor.

where is the sensor? could I dry it? I found the tiny beeper on the circuit board and covered it with a rubber cap. That muted it enough to be bearable. But I would still like to know what it is.

I apologize for not having a picture handy, I am camping, and working from my phone, but the interior light pops out from the wall, and the connector on the back needs to be cleaned and dried, the channel the wires run in should be cleaned, dried, and sealed with a dab of silicone before reassembly. That should take care of it.

Funny, it comes and goes. I notice condensation around the light when it beeps. But I can't figure out how to get it off. Then the condensation disappears and so does the beeping. How does the condensation build up? is the door not closing properly?

I looked at that. Dialectic gel, or bulb grease. Will silicone work?

Use dialectric.

It gets in through the channel the wires run in, they are sometimes poorly sealed as they come into the fridge box.. Dielectric grease will protect the connections at the light, a squirt of silicone in the channel will stop the moist air infiltration.

I took the clear cover off the light. I noticed it had condensation on it. Havn't heard a beep since!
