My propane gas detector is beeping about every 30 seconds and the light is red red green. Nothing happens or changes when I push the mute button. The propane tank is close/off and everything is turned off. There is no odor present. The unit is 5 years old. Is this an end of life signal of the unit?? Of course I am leaving for a trip in 2 days. Help

It is bad or your battery voltage is low.  Check your battery, if OK replace the sensor.
